About La Farm Bakery

Located at 220 W Chatham St, Cary, NC 27511, La Farm Bakery operates as a cafe serving Cary in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as bakery, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Cary will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in North Carolina usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 7 am–5 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (919) 650-3117. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, lafarmbakery.com.

Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 812 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded cafes & coffee in Cary.

Cary is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Cary is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I paid $13 for a breakfast sandwich on a croissant. The first one was burnt but they just made me wait without telling me it was being remade. The second one was also burnt but I guess they figured so what and handed it to me anyways. This time it had no egg on it. In all it took almost 30 minutes to get a burnt, wrong sandwich. When I just asked for my money back, the cashier couldn’t figure out how to refund it. The whole place was in chaos with very poor systems for ordering and picking g up orders. There were people standing around not waiting on anyone while the line continued to grow. The people who were waiting on customers seemed in over their heads, thus the two burned sandwiches. Very poor way to start a Saturday.

It's a nice bakery, with a good selection. We (2) went there on a Sunday morning, which seemed to be a busy time for them. The croissants and scones were delicious, however their serrvice side could use some TLC and needs a much improved coffee creamer selection.

I ordered a cappuccino, crossiant and pain au chocolate. Also bought a quarter loaf of sourdough bread. All items were fresh and very tasty. The staff is helpful and very polite.

La Farm is amazing! I love their white chocolate mini baguette - it’s always moist and delicious. I go out of my way to come to a La Farm location whenever I’m in the Triangle area. This location is not my favorite. No indoor seating and it’s kind of cramped. The area is also not the nicest - parking lot is cramped. Baked goods are good quality!
